Staged Reading of A Christmas Carol

 Gerardo AcostaA staged reader‘s theatre production of Charles Dickens‘ classic story of a miser who has a change of heart played in Silverton‘s Town Hall to a full house of local theatre goers and was very well received by the audience. The cast was comprised of veteran ATG actors and SSYP students.
Reprising roles were Dennis Norton as Scrooge, Scott Fetchenhauer as Bob Cratchit, and Steve Wolff in a variety of roles including Marley the Ghost and Old Joe. Blair Runion brought her theatre training to bear as the Narrator, giving the production a very polished vocal quality. Dave Swanson joined the company in the role of Scrooge’s nephew Fred. The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future were portrayed by students of Silverton School. Read More »

John Cook, Ken Vaughn, Mollie Mook-Fiddler and Lou King were re-elected to the Board of Directors for A Theatre Group during the annual meeting in September. After the annual meeting, the board held an organizational meeting and agreed a slate of officers for the board. Read More »
