Her ex-husband George accompanies her on her journey, sometimes as enemy, sometimes as friend. She grows throughout the story to find acceptance and peace between herself, her ex husband and family, and life.
The staged reading will be heal Friday, July 22nd at 7:00pm in the Silverton Public Library, 1111 Reese Street. Following the reading light refreshments will be served before the talkback session.
M. N. Norton wrote Helix months before the Russian invasion of Chechnya. As the invasion unfolded, her novel came to life as politics and war once again merged on a battlefield and the Russians again asserted their influence in the Caucasus. Their next step is to regain what they lost during the fall of the Soviet empire. Going a step beyond, Helix entails a CIA bio-warfare project that has been unleashed in southern Russia. Helix is available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Powell's and many other online booksellers.
Her second novel, A Death Without Malice, delves into the emotional hell of deciding to let someone you love die. There is no easy answer, sometimes all you can do is hope for forgiveness. A Death Without Malice is available at Amazon.com.
