Sinjin Jones, Lineage

Sinjin JonesSunday, July 24th, join us at 6:00pm on the patio at Natalia's Family Restaurant, 12th and Blair, for fine dinning from Natalia's full menu. The staged reading of Lineage by Sinjin Jones will begin at 7:00pm. After a short break following the reading, there will be a talkback session with the author, cast and the audience. In case of inclement weather, proceedings will move inside to the dinning room.

Sinjin began writing at a very young age, telling stories to the other neighborhood children. During high school he experimented with written and performance poetry, prose, plays, and screenplays, all of which he currently pursues, oftentimes in conjunction with one another. His sci-fi slam poetry musical, Strangers, premiered at the University of Colorado Denver to much acclaim and several of his plays have been staged in readings and full productions in and around the Denver area. As an emerging playwright, he attempts to experiment in the depths of the unknown and unknowable – exploring the psyche, the mind, causes and effects, and especially those things that people rarely discuss. He is honored to have his most recent drama, Lineage, in the New Artist Series.
